We had a short but lovely stay at Mille Etoiles in a truly magical location. The vibe is relaxed, the atmosphere calm, everybody being really nice. The kids made friends quickly and we had a fun time hiking down 20 mins to the river for a swim in the river.

The yurt was spacious and well equipped, the facilities clean and well maintained, the staff very friendly and helpful.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Mille Etoiles. The campground is situated beautifully among trees with plenty of shade and sunny spots. Nadine was so helpful with any questions we had. We enjoyed the restaurant which has a nice selection of food and is easy and comfortable, particularly with kids. The option to order baguette and croissants for the mornings was so convenient. And the most wonderful of all was the river. The hike down is a steep 25-30 minute walk but it is so worth it! At the bottom you arrive in a little paradise of coves and rocks and beaches.

Our Safari Lodge was just perfect, spacious, comfortable, clean, well-appointed with everything we needed. We loved the comfort of cooking in our own kitchen and eating on the lovely porch. It truly felt like staying in a cosy cabin. One of the most comfortable stays we have had!
The shower door needs fixing. Everything else was just perfect.

The location of the campsite is excellent. It is really at the heart of all the adventure the region can offer. The safari tents are lovely, and the staff are super helpful and friendly.

We enjoyed the remote countryside and being able to put our donkey in the paddock! It was outside the busy season and very quiet which was great.

Excellent hard working hosts. Fresh croissants, Bread and coffee each morning and nice family menu for the evening if required. Safari lodge perfect for our needs. Our family members with children enjoyed camping on a pitch close by. Peaceful site and great base for exploring the region.

Clean tidy and suited our needs well as other family members stayed onsite on another pitch. They joined us for some family meals around the table on the lodge veranda in the evening.

Yurt was comfortable and convenient, site fairly quiet and well-located in the natural park and a we could walk to the river down the steep gorge track. It's amazing to be able to eat at the campsite cafe and order fresh bakery items every day.
It was slightly annoying to have slippery plastic mattress and duvet covers. But appreciate this is helpful for keeping them clean. Also having to take soap and toilet paper every time we went to the bathrooms (none provided). And we didn't have enough comfortable chairs for everyone (you only have one sun lounger and one hammock for a family of 4).
Accommodation review
Yurt has a mini kitchen hut with a cooking stove and fridge and box with all crockery and utensils. Perfect!
Plastic covers on duvet and mattress were slippery and duvet keeps getting bunched up. Recommend bringing your own blankets instead as a duvet isn't really needed in August anyway.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce camping niché en pleine nature en Ardèche, parfait pour ceux qui cherchent à se déconnecter du stress de la ville et se reconnecter à l’essentiel. Le cadre est superbe, très calme, avec une vraie ambiance nature sans pour autant sacrifier le confort. Côté localisation, si vous voulez visiter le Pont d’Arc, il y a un sentier de randonnée juste derrière le camping. Attention cependant avec un enfant en bas âge, ce n’est pas forcément adapté car un peu physique. Sinon prendre la voiture (comptez environ 20 min) 1 parking et là accès simple & agréable

Nous avions choisi la Safari Lodge (dernière dispo au moment T), et franchement, aucune déception : c’était spacieux, confortable, tout en gardant ce côté "authentique" et proche de la nature. Une belle alliance entre confort et immersion. Mention spéciale à Nadine et son mari, les propriétaires, qui sont adorables et disponibles. On ne les voit pas constamment (ils ont beaucoup à gérer), mais dès qu’on a besoin de quelque chose ou qu’on pose une question, ils sont très réactifs et font vraiment de leur mieux pour nous satisfaire. J’aime en + pour la boutique au restaurant pour achats et pain
Je dirai peut être les toilettes/sanitaire (dans le lodge) sont fonctionnelles et superbes bien sûr, avec porte coulissante et tout ce qu’il faut, mais l’intimité sonore est assez limitée. On est vraiment dans l’esprit “nature” – on entend tout, et on est entendus aussi 😅. Pas gênant pour tout le monde, mais c’est bon à savoir !
