The establishment
The campsite was away from the Route des Gorges and there were plenty of shady sites. The owner was really friendly and helpful and was also able to book a canoe trip down the Ardeche. She was able to provide information about the local area. The site had a small cafe/snack bar on site providing a good choice of well priced food and drinks. The pool was lovely and refreshing and the facilities mostly clean and plentiful. The water in the showers was hot. We would recommend as a place to stay in the Ardeche as long as you don't mind some general night time noise and a fairly busy summer season
The campsite itself was quiet but the Route des Gorges has many large campsites located on its length and these tended to play loud music most nights. Most of the time it did stop by 11.30pm but it ruined the general tranquility offered at Le Vieux Vallon. On some nights the campsite itself was noisy was past 11.30pm but this was due to other campers, not the actual campsite itself. It was also high season. There was little wrong about the campsite per se, but we would likely not stay there again as we prefer much smaller sites in less touristy areas.

Our site (no 32) was very shady but it was located up some steep wooden steps which made it tricky to take all of our camping equipment up and down.

petit camping a taille humaine. loin de l'agitation et pourtant proche de Vallon pont d'Arc. J'ai beaucoup aimé l'emplacement que l'on m'a donné. Vue imprenable sur les collines , pas de vis à vis.
Tous les emplacements n'ont pas le même charme, disparité selon là ou l'on se trouve.

Personnel chaleureux et accueillant Petit camping , paradis pour les enfants. On peut les laisser gambader tout en gardant un œil sur eux facilement. La piscine est idéale Bloc sanitaire très correct
Ouverture du snack pas assez large, ferme trop trop le midi et le soir. Pendant les vacances les heures des repas son décalées… Soirée musicale avec ouverture du bar en soirée.

On a eu un emplacement à côté des sanitaires ce que j'ai beaucoup apprécié avec mes jumelles de 5 ans. On a une belle vue du camping. N'ayant pas de gaz on a bien apprécié le snack. Elles ont particulièrement adoré la piscine. On aurait apprécié quelques animations au camping genre un petit concert mais sinon c'était très bien.

Accueil au top, camping familial à taille humaine. Tout y est, piscine très agréable, prêt de raquettes, boules,... conseils sur les visites de la région. Tres proche du centre de vallon-pont-d'arc (20' a pied par un petit chemin forestier). Peu de bruits. La gérante est tres serviable meme si elle est débordée.
Notre emplacement était au bord du chemin d'accès principal. La piscine est agréable mais c'est la seule chose à faire dans le camping, le snack seul service annexe ne respecte pas les horaires. En conclusion le prix est trop élevé.

L'emplacement tente numéro 1 est très bien situé et spacieux, largement de quoi mettre tente et voiture. Très calme. La piscine est très propre, elle est nettoyée régulièrement par un gentil Monsieur :)

L'accueil était très bien et notre séjour aussi.
Rien a voir avec le camping. Réveil le dimanche matin à 8h par un groupe de 15 vtt istes qui ne soucient pas du tout qu'ils sont dans un camping...

Wir waren nach vielen Jahren wieder zu Gast und komplett begeistert von der immer noch liebevollen und herzlichen Atmosphäre. Ganz besonders gefallen hat uns die geschmackvolle Erneuerung vieler Bereiche, ohne den Charme des Platzes aufzugeben. Wir lieben diesen Platz!

Een warm ontvangst, dichtbij de stad. Op donderdag een grote Markt &2 supermarkten in de buurt. Zwembad is uitstekend verzorgd - kleine camping, maar zeker een aanrader!
