The smaller scale of the campsite, the direct acces to the river, the kano service. Friendly man at the reception.
More privacy on the pitches. The food served at the restaurant was a bit under cooked.

The staff and management on the site are extremely kind. It's a pleasure and you feel very welcome. I think we have been on this camp 6 times. And we will be back!
It's nice with live-music some nights, but when it lasts until 2 o'clock in the night it's pretty annoying for those who has been trying to fall asleep since sundown...

We stayed in our four-person tent, two adults and a dog.
There were four pitches right next to the river, but we were told that we could not choose any of them. However, throughout our entire four-night stay, all four pitches remained empty. That was very disappointing. The pitch we were given had very hard ground and was extremely dusty. When you are staying in a tent, you really appreciate having grass.

The food in the restaurant was very good, showers and toilets kept very clean and just a short walk to the pont d arc! Great beach on the river

The campsite was really shaded and the location was excellent with beach to swim from. The facilities were good and there was a lovely bar and restaurant. The people running the campsite were super helpful and lovely.

Been staying here most years since 1990 , why ? Because it’s a fabulous location ? Yes, but more over the owner , who was once the chef here is just about as friendly and accommodating as you could wish for . The campsite is well laid out and all the facilities you need and are crisp and cleaned every day . Nice restaurant on site , small shop for all your needs and close enough to the local town for everything else . Perfect !

Der Check-in lief sehr einfach und wir wurden nett begrüßt. Der Platz hat ein Restaurant, man kann direkt Canoetouren buchen und wird am Platz abgeholt und kommt auch, je nach Länge der Tour, direkt wieder am Platz an, es gibt ein Mini-Kinderspielplatz für ganz Kleine, ein kleiner Krafttrainingsaussenbereicht (ab 14J) und ein Bouleplatz. Die Wascheinrichtungen sind einfach und gut. Da der Campingplatz am Touristenhotspot liegt, kann man in 1km an den Pont d’arc laufen, ist er sehr beliebt und daher auch sehr lebendig.
Für uns war es zu voll und vor allem abends zu laut. Es wurde jeden Abend im Restauarant laut bis nach Mitternacht zu Karaokemusik gegrölt und frühs ab 8 oder 9Uhr war auch kaum noch an Schlafen zu denken. Ein netter Campingplatz mit sehr hilfsbereiten und netten Inhabern, an dem man Mitten im Geschehen ist.
