very pleasent experience. The hosts were so nice and friendly! We loved everything about that place. extraordinary clean sanitary facilities. The spot at the river was peaceful and perfect to take a bath.

The camping owners are very friendly. The camping itself is small, which usually means quiet and the sanitairies are very clean. There is a river nearby, 10 minutes walking distance. On the camping you can buy delicious bread and local products like very good icecream. Nearby villages Les Vans and Naves are worth exploring. There is a nice "Auberge" directly next to the camping with good food.

The friendly owners of the camping, the possibility to buy delicious local products like wine, beer, ice cream. The location. Also hygiene of the toilets, showers, dishwashing sinks. We also enjoyed the weekly barbecue night.
The cars are parked directly next to or in front of the the tents, we're used to a bit larger campspaces.

Well maintained, clean and quiet. Bread in the morning, lunch and diner possible at nearby restaurant.Wednesday night bring your own bbq to meet fellow visitors. Swimming in nearby river.

We had a great stay for 2 weeks with nothing to complain about. Jean and Cecile are very hospitable.
English translatings on signs could be better, but the small mistakes just make me smile 😃

Spacious camp sites with enough shadow. Incredibly clean facilities. Great hospitality, very good price. Attention for the environment. Very good drinking water.

We had a wonderful time at La Chataigneraie. It's a great location for exploring nature, culture and lots of yummy local foods! Cecile and Jean are the most friendly people who made us feel welcome everyday. Also the swimming at the riverside was a great idyllic place to visit each day to cool off, about ten minutes walking distance. The wednesday bbq was a nice touch for meeting people on the campsite. Tip for vegetarians: there's a local supermarket near Les Vans where they also sell very good vegetarian food: Aux Fermes Des Rayols. And try the ravioli from à l'Aube or pizza from Chez Alex!
There's quite some noise for example from camping neighbours (of course), the cicades and the road nearby. That's not something to fix, but good to be aware of. Also, the weather was super hot! Again not something you can control, but definitely wort to keep in mind when booking your stay.

Wonderful and very complete tipi! Everything we needed was provided. Our family of four had a great time sleeping here. The beds were very comfortable. We could close the super dark tent fabric in the 'bedrooms' so even our 'early waking' boys would sleep a bit longer :)

Peaceful camping with beautifully shaded spots, surrounded by the trees. 10 minute walk to the river where you can bathe and hike. Sanitary was absolutely spotless! Very friendly owners. We would definitely recommend this campsite and will be back in the future.

Très bon accueil, même tardif, les sanitaires sont spacieux et propres. Mention spéciale pour l’ambiance musicale, le matin dans les sanitaires, avec en plus une très bonne playlist!

Pour votre information, des soirées brasero sont organisées toutes les semaines en été et le bar est ouvert avec les boissons et glaces locales. Il est dommage que vous n'ayez pas participé à l'une d'elle sur votre quinzaine.
