The establishment
The campsite is very spacious and atmospheric. The personnel is always friendly and they take good care of their guests. The restaurant serves a good quality of food and drinks at a reasonable price. The pool and the sanitary block are kept very clean. A few times a week there is entertainment like a clown, live music or a bouncy castle for the kids. Once a week you can enjoy a communal meal with other guests. The campsite is not located next to the Ardeche, but all must-sees are just a few minutes by car away. And if you don’t want to use the car, just go by bike or foot.
That we only booked for two weeks ??

The pitch was very big, felt like we had our own orchard. There were enough trees to give the necessary shade and even hang our hammock.

The establishment
Camping L'Ombrage has it all. Extremely hospitable staff, good accomodation, big pitches, bread service, nice pool. Besides that, it is just a breautiful place with all the trees and the location is great for exploring the Ardeche province.
We were surprised by the music from the parties the neighbouring camping, every night from about 21-23h. It annoyingly disturbs the quietness and nice ambiance of the nature camping.
Accommodation review
It is just a great accomodation. The pro's of a tent (living outside, enjoying nature) and the pro's of a house (comfort of your own kitchen and sanitary). It is nice and clean. Good kitchen equipment (big variety of pots and pans, more than enough plates and glasses, sharp knives etc, fridge+freezer). The lodge has also more storage room than I expected. The porch is just a great place to spend your evening, even when its raining.
One small thing: would be helpful if the duvet size (220×240cm) was specified in the booking information, so you are sure to bring the right sheets.

The establishment
We were the first time in a "lodge" tent. They are well equipped, clean and convenient. At least in the parents' "bedroom" you can sleep with open walls what is very good in a hot summer. The distance between the places as well as the trees offer a large privacy level compared to other campsites. Further the personnel and landlords are available, very welcoming and can give good guidance for trips. As the site is small and family oriented, our 5 and 8 year old kids could walk safely and independent to the playground, pool and the restaurant.
There is music from the animation oriented campsite on the opposite hill at the evening. You have to know it if you are sensitive to this but for us it was not disturbing.

The establishment
Nice small camping, clean, new equipment, very friendly and helpful staff, well organised.
At the pitches near the bar you will have to coop with loud music from the bar untill 23h of later. This was not our cup of tea as we like a quiet evening and like to go to bed with out any music disturbance. If you don't mind about that, this it is a nice camping in a beautiful area.

The pitch was perfect en the atmosphere was great! The owners were really enthousiastic and they really try to make the best for you.
From other campsites, the music was sometimes really hard.

The establishment
Ce camping est à la hauteur de vos attentes ! L'accueil y est très chaleureux, les gérants ne sont pas avares de bons conseils pour découvrir les trésors de cette belle région. L'endroit est idéalement situé, au calme et à quelques kilomètres des commodités. C'est calme, c'est ombragé et on s'y sent comme chez soi. On a adoré notre expérience et ne pouvons que conseiller ce camping.
Petite passion soufflage de feuilles de la part du camping qui nuit parfois à la tranquillité du site.

La lodge que nous avions réservée est parfaite : spatieuse, agréable et charmante.
Petit bémol sur la literie (très très ferme) de la lodge, et sur la taille de l'emplacement (nous sommes très proches des autres lodges, heureusement presque toutes inoccupées lors de notre venue mi-septembre).
