We lived the peace and tranquillity of being by the river. The swimming pool and the children’s pool especially were on the cold side.
Handwashing sinks to be installed in the laundry. If you have a stain that wants pretreating or something needing rinsing before going in the washing machine you have to walk all the way over to the washing up area to be able to do it. I noted that washing up was also being done in the clothes washing sinks as there were no signs to say otherwise.
Accommodation review
Our 2nd pitch down by the river, much quieter and a far better sanitation block. The showers were stronger and stayed on longer than the block at the restaurant.
The grey waste arrangement. A small turning area for a 8m campervan to get around. It cannot be very pleasant for the people staying in the bungalows to have chemical toilets and waste water being disposed of so close to their accommodation.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr sehr gerne auf der Durchfahrt nach Spanien hierher. Saubere Sanitäranlagen, gutes Restaurant, schön angelegter und schön gelegener Platz. Sehr freundliches Personal. Große Stellplätze.

Camping eigenaren geweldig lieve behulpzame mensen.Een goed restaurant waar wij lekker hebben gegeten en een mooie en schone camping met zwembad.Er zijn mogelijkheden om div km te wandelen. Wij komen zeker terug op deze camping

Wij waren de eerste gasten van seizoen met onze caravan. Smetteloos en genoeg plek om uit te zoeken met een schilderachtig uitzicht. In mei is het rustig en stil op het geluid van de rivier en vogels na. Het echtpaar investeert jaarlijks en dat is te zien, geen ouwe meuk. De eigenaar als oud slager weet als kok je te verrassen en maakt het een 5 sterren camping. Sanitair voorzieningen zeer goed en niets stuk beschadigd en altijd wc papier. Met de schapen als vertier en grasmaaiers is er echte Hollandse koopmanschap. Over alles is en wordt na gedacht en nimmer met de Franse slag.

Accommodation review
Voor een ouder stel in mei prima plek na een lange rit van 1000 km en dan nog 8 km de berg op is voor het eerst een uitdaging. Racefietsen is prima te doen met de juiste cassette al moet je als polder boy wel wennen aan het afdalen. Even naar het dorp fietsen is niet echt nodig daar de broodjes servies en de camping winkel van de elementaire zaken kan voorzien. Genoeg plek voor caravan met voortent en auto.
En en bestaat niet en met een uurtje rijden door de bergen vanaf de snelweg zou je willen dat het dichter bij was maar dan mis je de schilderachtige omgeving en de rust. Elk nadeel heeft zijn voordeel zei een wijs man eens.

Fantastische omgeving en ruime plaatsen met super mooi uitzicht. Alle faciliteiten perfect in orde. 5* zeker waard. Gastheer en vrouw super aardig die alles doen om je verblijf tot feestje te maken. Komen zeker terug.
